Were Two Pyramids Just Discovered in Egypt Using Google Earth?

The
two possible complexes are located about 90 miles apart from each other
in Upper Egypt (the southern part of the country). Satellite
archaeology researcher Angela Micol wrote on her website Google Earth Anomalies that the sites contain unusual mounds with noteworthy features.“Upon closer examination of the formation, this mound appears to have a very flat top and a curiously symmetrical triangular shape that has been heavily eroded with time,” Micol.
One
of the sites contains four mounds with triangular plateaus. The largest
mount is 620 feet wide, three times the size of the Great Pyramid. The other site contains a 150-foot wide, square-shaped, truncated mound, and three smaller mounds which Micol says contain diagonal elements similar to the pyramids of the Giza Plateau.
Micol acknowledges her findings are yet to prove anything and will require further research by archaeologists.
“The images speak for themselves,” she says. “It’s very obvious what the sites may contain but field research is needed to verify they are, in fact, pyramids.”
