I must confess that I am not so much of a fan of the official Facebook app. When I am setting up a new smartphone or when I am updating my apps which are installed on an older phone the I usually leave this one between the last ones. It;s not because I do not like Facebook or I am not frequently using it. But, for me, it is a very good option to access directly the classic site instead of using the dedicated app because the latter has a lot of bugs, errors and provides also an entire series of crashes.
Yes, I would have expected that a popular social network, with huge earnings, like Facebook, to be able to develop a mobile app which would work flawless. Unfortunately it is not the case here. And my opinion is shared by many other users, too, which have reported all kind of bugs and errors in the versions of Facebook mobile applications that we have received in the recent years. Also, this opinions are not strictly referring to a specific mobile operating system but they target all three of them: Android, iOS and Windows Phone.
This article refers to Facebook v2.3 app, as you have already observed. That’s not a low number of versions which have been released until now. The social network is currently focusing to offer us more and more new functions, which is good. But they still forget on important thing: the mobile application is not reliable and this affects the entire user experience, making some of us to drop it and use the browser to access directly the Facebook site.
The update that we have received today, the version 2.3 for the Facebook app, targets the Windows Phone users. the officials from Facebook have declared that this update comes to solve many complaints which this popular network has received from different users.
